Last week I saw a wonderful movie called Pan's labyrinth(El Laberinto del Fauno). And to be honest, it was one of the best movies I've ever seen. The story was incredibly endearing and the scenery was simply magical. It's about a young girl who creates her own magical world to escape from reality. There she meets a Faun, a mythical creature, who sends her on a quest. To succeed she has to complete three tasks. At the same time she has to deal with her cruel stepfather and her sick and pregnant mother.
Eventhough the story is filled with sad elements like the spanish civil war and her mother's sickness, the overall feeling you get from it is a positive one. One of believing in yourself and your dreams. If you haven't seen it yet, you should totally watch it as soon as you get the chance!

I loved Pan's Labyrinth, such a twisty real fantasy. I also envied the clothes, is it wrong to admire a child's wardrobe and want it for yourself?
Wow, it seems to be a beautiful movie. It reminds me of a movie I once saw; Heavenly Creatures. Have you seen that movie?
@the clothes horse: haha no I think that's perfectly fine ;)
@french-cookie: no I haven't seen that one yet! It's directed by Peter Jackson, right?
That's right, and Kate Winslet is one of the main actors. The movie is based on a true story, it's about two girls who have their own fantasy-world, great to see.
